Today we are wishing JOAN JETT a very Happy Birthday! Born Joan Marie Larkin on September 22, 1958 near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She started her career with the all girl punk band THE RUNAWAYS, before forming the band Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. She is on the ROLLING STONE list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time at #87. She has three albums that have been certified either platinum or gold.
